As you all may know I'm a proud father, I love my kids and they bring so much enjoyment and lack of time to my life. It was a shock and a surprise that we were expecting number 3 a little girl. For the twins we made an effort to photograph Charlie every two weeks to document the pregnancy unfortunately this time round we haven't had the time, so instead we decided to do a big shoot incorporating a maternity shoot on the beach and in creeks that surround us in the country we call home. We firstly had Charlie's hair and makeup done early in the morning by Alana Hart of Make it up on the Gold Coast.
I can't stress enough the importance of having your hair and make up done professionally for a photoshoot. Alana air brushed Charlie giving her a natural look, we shot for quite a few hours in the heat of the midday sun and even that night Charlie's makeup was flawless. After hair and makeup we headed to Fingul on Northern NSW for the beach photos, where we had some fun in amongst some of Charlie's favourite beach side trees the Dragon tree. We then headed up to Currumbin Creek rock pools in the afternoon for more fun in the cool waters of the creek. The head piece of flowers was supplied by Skeleton Leaf of the Gold Coast, If you are after a florist for what ever the occasion Charlotte will come up with something stunning. This was an amazing day for me to get to spend time with my wife and also document the ever growing bump. Please enjoy our Gold Coast maternity photography experience.
